Lamp Replacement Guide
Note: Ideally, the contractor who installs the lighting system will take care of lamp replacements. However, if a homeowner wishes to replace lamps, he or she should take care to replace each lamp with the same wattage as the original.

If lamp wattage is not legible on the lamp, then wattage may be read from the Fixture Record Tag attached to the base of the fixture.

Before replacing lamps, the system should be powered off and lamps should be handled with gloves or a soft cloth. Fingerprints on lamp surfaces can lead to premature burnout.

Burned-out lamps should be replaced promptly since the loss of one or more lamps on a wire run will lead to a voltage jump on other fixtures. This may reduce the life of the other lamps.

For all Path Lights and Wall Wash: Use Wedge Base Krypton (Sylvania)

For all Bullets and Directionals: Use MR-16

For Nich Light and Deck Light: Use Bayonet Base Halogen

For all PAR-36 Well Lights: Use PAR-36

For all MR-16 Well Lights: Use MR-16
All CAST MR-16 lamps are sealed to prevent reflector surface from moisture that can lead to chipping or flaking.
